TERMS & CONDITIONS

Quotes may be based on information supplied by the customer, including descriptions, photographs, estimated quantities, type of material, accessibility, and anticipated weight or load size.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, an online, telephone, or photo-based quote is an estimate based on the information available at the time.

The final price may change if the actual job differs from the information provided, including differences in:

• Number or volume of items
• Weight
• Type of materials
• Labour required
• Property access
• Stairs or difficult removal conditions
• Loading time
• Disposal requirements
• Additional items requested for removal

Where practical, significant changes to the quoted price will be discussed with the customer before the additional work proceeds.

Customer Authorization

The customer represents that they are the owner of the items being removed or otherwise have authority to authorize Big Guy Junk Disposal to remove them.

Once items have been removed and transported for disposal or recycling, recovery may not be possible.

Customers should therefore make sure that valuables, documents, personal belongings, or items they wish to keep are separated before removal begins.

Items We May Refuse

Big Guy Junk Disposal reserves the right to refuse any item or material that cannot safely or legally be transported, handled, recycled, or disposed of through the facilities available to us.

This may include hazardous, dangerous, regulated, contaminated, explosive, toxic, biological, or other prohibited materials.

Customers should disclose unusual or potentially hazardous materials before the job begins.

Property Access

The customer is responsible for providing reasonable and safe access to the items being removed.

Please disclose relevant access conditions before service, including stairs, elevators, restricted parking, narrow entrances, unusually heavy items, or other circumstances that may affect the work.

Scheduling

Requested dates and times are subject to availability.

Big Guy Junk Disposal will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the agreed service period. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, disposal-site delays, earlier jobs, equipment issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If a delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Customers should contact us as soon as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule a job.

If you later introduce a cancellation fee or deposit, do not add one to these terms until you have actually established the policy.

Payment

Payment terms and the amount due will be communicated to the customer in connection with the service.

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due upon completion of the service.

Additional services or items added to the job may result in additional charges.

Disposal and Recycling

Big Guy Junk Disposal makes reasonable efforts to dispose of and recycle materials responsibly where appropriate and where suitable facilities or programs are available.

We cannot guarantee that every item collected will be recyclable or diverted from landfill.

Damage and Pre-Existing Conditions

Customers should identify fragile areas, existing property damage, or special concerns before work begins.

Big Guy Junk Disposal will take reasonable care while performing services. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Governing Law
